For updates about
weather in the NY/NJ area (including the ten-day forecast), click here
(Weather.com).If there is enough interest, we will organize a dinner
excursion on Saturday, preceded by an informal walking tour of lower
Manhattan (the World Trade Center site, Wall Street, the Brooklyn
Bridge, Little Italy, and Chinatown). We will meet in the hotel
lobby at 5:30 p.m. for this trip. Participants will pay the
actual cost of what they order. If there is enough interest, we
will also offer a group excursion to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis
Island on Sunday morning, leaving the hotel at 10:00 a.m. for Liberty
State Park (a short tram ride away). Boats run frequently
throughout the day, so it is possible to create a flexible trip.
The boat trip is advertised as $10 round trip. Click here
for details.
