Italiano III

Students are required to purchase 4  items for the Accelerated Italian 103.

Items 1-4 are  available at the Montclair State University Bookstore. Italian courses at Montclair State University use a  soft-cover (i.e, less expensive), custom edition of the main textbook (that is, our edition will be different from what is currently available on the market in hard cover).

The Workbook/Lab Manuals will be in electronic format. The individual, non-transferable codes to access the texts will be contained in the package purchased at  the Montclair State University Bookstore. You can also purchase the keys  directly on-line at http://books.quia.com (choose “Bookstore”, go to “Discipline”, select Italian and click on “Search”, then choose Prego! Workbook and Prego! Laboratory Manual).

1. Lazzarino, Peccianti, Aski, Dini.  Prego! An invitation to Italian, 6th edition (Custom Edition for Montclair State University, McGraw-Hill, 2004).
    
2. Supplements to accompany Prego!’s custom edition (for Montclair State University, labeled “Workbook/Lab Manual to Accompany Prego! & Italiano in diretta”). This supplement is packaged with the codes for the following two titles:

3. Dini, Lazzarino. Laboratory Manual to accompany Prego! 6th edition (McGraw-Hill 2004)

4. Lazzarino, Dini. Workbook to accompany Prego! 6th edition (McGraw-Hill 2004).

5. VISUAL LANGUAGE GUIDE  You will use a “Visual Language Guide” to widen your vocabulary base. Lexicon is arranged thematically and is introduced visually (in Italian and English). Lexicon memorization and immediate use will be promoted throughout the semester.
