How to figure your Sociology GPA
1. Write down the grades and credit hours for all the Sociology courses that you took. For example, find and write down all the courses that start with SOCI. You can find this information on WESS or VRS.
2. Then add the numbers (grade points) together (using the chart below). For example, an A for a 3 credit course is 12.0, A- is 11.1 etc.)
3. Divide the total # of grade points (from above) by the total amount of sociology credits you took. For example, if you took six 3-credit courses, then you divide the total grade point (from # 2) by 18.
4. The answer is your Sociology GPA.
