The Department of Legal Studies and The Educational Opportunity Fund Program have joined together to address the need to increase access to careers in law for disadvantaged students who have been historically under-represented in the legal field.

The Educational Opportunity Fund Program provides special admissions, financial aid, and academic support services for highly motivated students who do not meet regular admission criteria and who also come from low-income families. Eligible students qualify for counseling, tutoring, and financial aid (which normally defrays college expenses) through graduation.
