The Theme of _Class_ in _Matigari_.
Please read through Part II (beginning p. 67) and Part III
(beginning page 129) of the novel again, and pick THREE (3) passages
in which the theme of _class_ is important.
What is the significance of the theme of CLASS in this novel? You may
wish to discuss: exploitation; poverty; crime; religion; the role of
women; or, especially, colonialism/imperialism -- but please do so by
relating the passages on the theme of CLASS which you have chosen, to
those other themes.
