Assignment on Noam Chomsky, "The Lessons of the Vietnam War".

     Please read, and reread, the essay by Noam Chosmky. You can go to
it HERE. You should also print it out
and bring it to class with you.

     After studying it carefully, please write about 300 words (about
 one and one-half single-spaced 'screens' on Alpha, or about 30-35
lines of text) discussing what Chomsky believes the lessons of the war
are for Americans today.

     Email your essay to me and to your group by Thursday, 9 p.m., so
we can all read it.
