Assignment on the Korean War and Similarities to the Vietnam War

     I will scan some passages from the book by Jon Halliday and Bruce
Cumings, Korea: The Unknown War for you to write on.

However, it may be that you have to do your assignments BEFORE
Saturday, when I expect to have this scanning job done. If this is
true of you, then please read, and write on, the following two pages,
which deal with a closely related topic, the "management of the press"
during the Korean War:

Policy in Korea, Part I; and

     
Media Policy in Korea, Part II.

     Please study these pages carefully -- especially Part I -- and
then write 150 words or so analyzing the issues raised in these posts. 

     Finally, don't forget to respond or reply to a post by another
student as well, in another 100-150 words.
